bored of Diablo 3? Give this a whirl....

They just completed their open beta weekend which went very well. So now its closed beta at the moment but you can donate $10 for access :)

Tried it briefly last night and it looks quite involved... but good. Its got that "free to play" feel if that makes any sense, but gonna give it a good whirl tonight!
 
It's more like Diablo than Diablo 3 lol

This has been looking very good, though I wish they would just hurry up and have a full open beta and hopefully release within the next few years lol. They are taking their sweet time.

Though it is online free to play the only thing I'm not crazy about is them not having any currency.

Still it's been looking good and the only online game I've been remotely interested in getting into.
 
I think they may have copyright issues with Blizzard when they launch. Their website is even based on the gold type font in Diablo and Diablo2.
 
I'm part of the closed beta, thanks for reminding me about this though I need to download it again.
 
Its not really like Diablo being a MMO. I think it still needs tons of polish but its playable and fun.

No, but too many coincidences will get the attention of Blizzard's lawyers. Especially if the game is popular.
They could have made things different wherever possible, like font type/colour in the game and on their website.
 
its actually good fun hey, I was playing some more last night in between work :erm:

I think it will be more fun when played with a mate. Gonna give that a whirl tomorrow night and see how it goes. Nothing else to play until Borderlands 2 comes out anyway... and its a good $10 spent even if we dont end up playing it! :)
 
Played it in the Open Beta... Loved it...
Got myself a Beta Key yesterday.

I think the thing i Like the most is the extensive skill tree and that you can see and feel the improvements in the game as time progresses.

And It's going to be FREE TO PLAY!!! WOOHOO!!!
 
must be honest my time has been taken up by Torchlight 2, and Borderlands 2 will be eating into my TL2 time this weekend lol
