Pathetic Core Service

I bought an airport express from the Sandton iStore and set it up.

A month later the airport express packed up so I took it to the Sandton iStore. After waiting around for about 20 minutes, someone was available to book it in. He advised me it would take between 10 days and 6 weeks. I was quite unhappy as the unit was less than a month old, but didn't fight and handed it in.

3 weeks later I get a call the unit is ready to collect. I went to collect it today. I handed the shop attendant my form, and he started scratching in a cupboard, then another cupboard, then a draw. Then he looked at a piece of paper with all writing on it, then another piece of paper, then started looking in the cupboard again.

He eventually looked at me and said "it must be downstairs". I was like ok, then go get it. "No, downstairs is only open during the week". Problem is, I work during the week and can't get there.

IF they KNEW it was downstairs, it's one thing. BUT he assumes its downstairs because they do not have a filing system or anyway of telling where it actually is. I was about to loose my temper so I just walked out of the store.

I would like to know how long it's actually going to take them to find the unit if I do manage to get there during the week. Pathetic service for a so called premium product.
