Well, that may be the way you roll but in reality no. In reality theres nothing for nothing. If the guys putting up the cash for your good time you should be doing something to reciprocate. If it's sex thats whorish. If its the pleasure of her company the dude needs some self-esteem. These days earning potential between men and women isnt that different except at a level few of us will attain, so it's not like guys are wooing a wife to raise his family and take care of his home anymore. This guy always pays thing just doesn't make sense anymore. I'm all for being a gentleman but paying for things she can afford as well as me is just stupid.
 
Stop being cheap. You invited the girl out, just pay. After a few dates this should sort itself out.

:p after a seven year relationship where I fixed all the stuff, caught the spiders checked when the alarm went of ( familiarity I guess) I started dating again, I decided I will not be doing that anymore... As faith will have it date nr 3 a spider rocked up ( huge water spider) when I turned to jump on the couch the guy was already there... So much for the damsel in distress thing :D

So yes I am back to catching spiders and fixing things :D I just have help this time.

At least you can quibble over who should pay for the date, I still have to find one! But as a general rule, you are supposed to pay for the first date... She isn't even supposed to offer because she could have stayed at home and had noodles... In other dates to follow, probably on the third date, if she does not offer to chip in... Then you need to dump her ass bro, she is a gold - digger mate!
