payment gateway for hostgator

Hi i have joined with hostgator.we are a cape town based small business selling on bid or buy.How do we install a payment gateway do i install fantastico wich is free from hostgator and then log on to payfast and install opencart or oscommerce.We called payfast and they said none of their free payment gateways are compatiable with weebly(hostgators website style)We have over 500 products so to pay eshop will cost me over 600 a month/south african shopping cart provider..shopify also .the lady we called did not seem very clued up but seemed to say only the high end south african providers were compatiable with hostgator.In a nutshell would this work installing opencart or oscommerce through payfast selling in south africa.

Just use opencart with payfast. I am using opencart, payfast and hosting is with hostgator.

As above, use a local host and get opencart and pay fast. Just be careful with their terms, they have a very low maximum transaction limit which can be a letdown if your products are expensive

Hi There,
On other forums a similar problem has come up. Opencart seemed there to be the best solution and pay fast although not the cheapest appeared the better option for most to use.
