Hi all,

I have an old Sony Vaio (600 Mhz, 128 MB Ram, 1024x480 display), which I have set up as a music player. Currently I am using Xubuntu with Fluxbox. However, Xubuntu still has quite high overheads, and the only thing I use the PC for is as a music player. Any recommendations for a system with a graphical interface that runs quickly on an old computer, can display 1024x480, to be used for the purpose?

Thanks,
Tassidar

Freevo might be a good solution, it can AFAIK run directly on the framebuffer so it won't need Xorg and would probably be quite "light".. :)

I've not personally tried it though.. (yet ;))
