The SO's makeup brush (the round type) works really well.

Otherwise have used the compressed air lines in workshops fairly often. Just stand back a bit to avoid too strong an impingement of air.

I have used canned air, but its ridiculously expensive.
What do you guys use?

I use one of these to clean my PC. To be honest it will get rid of some of the dust on the surface but if you really want to clean your pc you still need a micro fibre cloth and elbow grease to really make it shine.

Not to mention turning them into little DC generators, pumping nasty volts back in to the 'board and blowing #### up. Rookie error 1.01.

Was going to mention this but tbh I think you'd have to be going some to damage a board this way. I never have even as a Rookie before I realised how fast the fans were spinning!
