Just hold your fans when you clean them, cause sometimes the high speeds from the compressor can burn out their little bearings...

Dust filters.... best thing to get put onto a PC case
i've always been a huge huge huuuuuuge Nvidia fan, they've never really let me down, but cant argue with facts, if there cards are running hotter and sucking more power
why would i put myself through the issues of having my system over heat and possibly killing my power supply.
that reminds me i've got a 500w psu with 2 sep 12v rails with either 20 or 18a on each rail hope that will be enough for the 5870 ... dont really feel like going
out to get a whole new psu as well.

No, they just stop dust going in. Otherwise they'd be called air filters
I clean my filters out once a month or so, and the inside of my case is mostly dust free. Obviously if you never clean the filters then yes, air flow gets restricted.Juggy

Get the Asus 5850 Voltage Tweak. It'll be the best 3500 you ever spend I promise you.
