Pc for 10K - 15K

Teraside you might have to update yours in 2 months but i'll probably have to after my deadly 6 month wait, but it'll be worth it when i get it

Thanks Frag.

Let's say my friend buys the pc in two months time. Would I need to update those specs or not?

You can look at a few small things, but it wouldn't differ significantly...
Obviously it depends on what your friend is going to use the system for :D
In two months' time you might be able to replace the 500GB with a 750GB for the same price etc.. :)

In two months' time, just PM or make a new post, I'll be glad to help :)

Guys has anyone ever bought from pcint? to good to be true i must say...

They are good... They just lose it sometimes when you go back to claim repairs on faulty products... Specially some dude called "r....."

Any case : Zones are cheaper - and BTW PCInt and zones are only that cheap cause of the amount of stock they move :p

Only problem is that Zones don't ship (unless that's changed recently) and PCint don't ship below 1k.

It will add R400 - R800 onto the price, but I would seriously consider replacing the case with an Antec P182 (http://www.sybaritic.co.za/store/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=86&products_id=12132), which is probably the best case currently out there, or the Antec Nine Hundred, which be run cooler and be slightly cheaper, but will obviously be much more noisy.

Believe whatever Frag says he knows what he's talking about, I live close to Zones and I also thought they were to good to be true at first but they legit, unless you have something broken you want to take back to them

Bad service? They probably have one guy doing customer relations and web design... Poor chap.

I know this is a lil late but the m/boards in the PC zone quads are really budget, Asus P5SD2-VM = R 478

wouldn't the intel be superior to the AMD, don't want to sound like a fanboi but everyone says the intel performs better so why would you settle for lower performance. . . Just what i heard.

I've seen more than just reviews on benchmarks between QuadCore and the Phenom (sounds like a pigeon on laxitives...). The Quad Core just messed with the Phenom all over. It's way faster and not all that much more expensive. The Phenom 9850 is still slower than the Q6600. Now try it against the Q9450 or even the Q9300.
