I bought from them quite a few times on occasion over the years and had no issues. Didn't order the last few months though, so can't attest past January.

It's on the tip of my tongue, but there was another local distributor/store that collapsed in the exact same way. Happened in the last ten years.

I work in the IT hardware/infrastructure industry and so many dodgy companies popping up all over the place.
We get so many clients that buy from these dodgy sites and are getting ripped off.
I wish people would just start doing honest business then we all have a fair chance.

I've bought from PC Link Computers three different times over the last 6 years or so with no problems up until now.

For some reason I always thought they were based in Pretoria. Knowing that they are actually from the West Rand would have made me think twice before ordering... /ducks

I've bought from PC Link many times before this fsckup and went to collect from the house it was run from most of the time.
 
Two different orders two years apart resulted in the exact same results, waiting forever on a refund and all kinds of strange stories, tall tales and failed promises. Was told that refunds need to be done on certain days of the weeks when certain staff members are working, instead my refund still took three weeks to complete. I am happy that they are no longer doing business as they will now no longer show up in my search results.
