Connected a PC to the ADSL router wireless. All other WiFi devices iPad, phones, laptops are working fine.

PC shows connected to the network but no Internet ??? What have I done wrong? Help pls.
.

Are you getting an IP address?

Maybe you have static IP information in from a previous connection?

Can you ping 8.8.8.8?

Going into router settings I see all devices picked up and IP 10.0.0.7 assigned to this PC. Type: class0 Dynamic.

Please dudes I'm noob, speak baby language :p

What you can try is to release and renew your PC's ip.

Go into cmd prompt and type:

Ipconfig /release

Enter

Ipconfig /renew

Enter

Might help. Might not. Give it a shot.

I did. First did Ipconfig/flushdns then the other 2 cmds.

Not working. The wife wanted to format PC and reinstall all software but told me now it does not want to format

So you can ping 8.8.8.8?

In that case your connection is working.

Can you ping www.google.co.za as well?

If yes, browser problem, if not DNS problem.
