PC Towers ?

Try the Matrix Head office in Alberton. They carry some really nice large cases that won't bust your wallet.

Negative on the cheap matrix case. U hav decent specs, so get a decent case. I'd second the coolermaster 690.

I've got a black version of this Codegen S201 case - the best thing I ever bought - plenty of storage space, running dual-PSU's and more-than-ample cooling - not the best looking thing (rather plain) but that's how I like my cases, besides, it sits under my desk out of sight... :)

... bought plenty of them, they may be cheap in price, but they work fine and you can put your own PSU in it. Don't see why you should have to pay a premium for something that you can get elsewhere cheaper.... but if you really WANT to pay more... be my guest.

this is my home computer...

You bought that case at Matrix ?

http://www.sybaritic.co.za/store/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=61&products_id=17319 This one? ATX :p

I stick to what I said before - it'll fit in any case which specifies that it supports ATX form factor. It are the modern monolithic graphics cards you need to worry about :>

hehe

you just helped a crap load I can't tell you how much. So if the specs for the Case is APX the Mobo will fit ?

...mmm... what do you mean with regards to the GFX ? PCI-e aint it ?

The newer two slot monster graphics cards are pretty long and can be a very snugg fit go smaller cases. I've got a Gtx 260 and P5Q-e mobo in a Thermaltake Armor and there's only about a 4cm (I'm guessing) clearance between the back of the card and the HDD rack. It also blocks one of the Sata ports on the mobo.

Hey, looks like u decorated the case in time for Christmas .... nice lights ...:p
this is my case, you very seldom see an RS4, M3 or AMG engine, with a cheapskate body look...

I paid +/- 3.3k over a year ago  Alot of tom for a case, but trust me, it does not only look gud, the inside is designed for ease of use, excellent airflow and obviously gud build quality ;)

Nice! The Aerocool cases are good value-for-money

I honestly don't like them, they just don't feel .. solid u know. But value for money, it's a gud buy ;) The Raidmax Smilodon is IMHO a kickass case at a kickass price, but personally, I'd stick with the CM or TT range... that's just me

ATX :D :D :D And yes, it will :p

*nod* I also have a GTX260 - it's a beautiful beast. I have about 15cm between the card and the closest part of the drive racks though ;) However, in my other half's chassis, there isn't the faintest chance in hell it'd fit. It's 25-odd centimetres in length.

That's why I said - your problem isn't so much finding a case for an ATX board as it is finding a case that'd fit a 25cm graphics card comfortably. Just bear that in mind. It'd sux0rz much0rz to get an awesome chassis only to find out later on that your graphics card's too big :p

The Gtx260 is a beautiful beast indeed. I've understimated the Armor though - it's more like a 10-12 cm space, which is pretty good.
