Right this is a one of my ideas and really I'm not sure how this would pan out, but all the same should make for an interesting subject to figure out/talk about!
So the question: What would be a good 5.1 sound system to hook up to your PC (not HTPC for TV room, this is strictly for PC room.) this encapsulates gaming, music and some movies both high def and SD.
The question is not limited to HTib and can be component setups as well, the only limitation is budget and this will be 15K and under!
Second question: Looking at using a LCD/LED screen (reason being that 32" is what I want to use and i don't know of a PC monitor of this size, but I've been known to be wrong before ) What would be a good one to use, would it work well and it would be for the same use as the sound requirement!
The only restriction here is no more then 12K but less is fine too.
Thirdly I want to know if mobo's have progressed to the point where using the onboard sound would suffice or would looking at a aftermarket sound card for eg. asus xonar or some such be the better way forward.
Sorry for all the question but rather ask then buy and regret!
