Well their attitude, that 'I know better than you or you don't know what you talking about' is what has pissed the author off. This approach has in the past also wound me up.

On the flip side their prices are extremely attractive which I think makes up for their attitude :(. SO IF THERE'S ANY PC ZONE SNOOPS HERE - PLEASE GET YOUR COMPONENT PRICES UP A TAD AND EMPLOY MORE KNOWLEGEABLE AND APPROACHABLE STAFF, PLEASE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER.

That would make it a grey import then because a dealer would usually just return it to a supplier in SA.

Sorry for the resurrect, just want to say these guys are running themselves into the ground.

I am surprised they are even still in business.

The first time my friend and I went to their store was also the last time. The staff walked around aimlessly and not a single person attended to me.

So true, they used to be mega. Stock would move so fast the boxes would be piled high for collection, website always had exciting new specials, and the store would permanently be bustling with customers... was my go-to store 'bout 5 years ago

I had many returns with Mitabyte. Flash drives, Printer, Wifi dongles and keyboards.

I prefer to go to Esquire across the road.

There are a few things you must learn about buying from PC Zone:

1.) NEVER buy a complete PC from them.
2.) Buy by brand - They can (and will) sell you low quality stuff.
3.) The stuff they sell is generally cheaper (Price wise) than everywhere else, but you must know specifically (Model Number) what it is.

TL;DR: Don't make an impulse purchase from PC Zone.
