I recently got the P5K Deluxe, good board i love it except for the sound. It just sounds so soft compared to my old motherboard.
I have a decent set of Sennheiser headphones and also a surround sound system but i can listen to all of it on max volume which aint right and im not deaf lol.
So im deciding to get a new pci sound card.
Im think of getting the:

Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS or the

Audigy 4.

Which do u recommend?
Thx

I was thinking that too.
Any other sound card recommendations?
I hear that that audigy is very good so i guess i cant go wrong with it. Also i dont wanna spend a fortune on a sound card. I can get the Audigy 4 for R629 inc vat.

The Audigy 4 isn't too bad, although the Audigy 2 ZS was a higher-profile card a few years ago. I'd personally suggest the Z-Fi XtremeGamer, but that's R400 more.

I'm sure you'll be quite happy with either of your choices.

Other than an X-Fi range card I think that's the best you can get for that price :)

But the X-Fi cards are expensive

I will stick with onboard 8 channel HD sound this time. What about cards like blackgold? terra something?

I think il stick with the Audigy 4. I think its a fair price i really don't wanna spend more. All i want is a little bit better and louder sound than my onboard sound card :P
it should do the trick hehe
