PDP and License

Hi I am selling my 4t truck that currently has a valid license and PdP both of which run out tomorrow and the buyer is saying I am required by law to license the truck and do the PdP before I can sell? Any advice

License the truck sure, but why do you as the owner of the truck need a PDP? Are you going to be transporting good or persons for reward to get to the buyer?

PDP = Public Driving Permit... its a document YOU as a person/driver needs to get as an add-on to your license if you like. Buyer is trying to con you.

To add to the above, the PDP is attached to the individual, not the truck. Whether or not you have a PDP is immaterial to the buyer.

Are you going to be the driver for reward after the buyers buys it? I doubt.
