At these prices there not going to be another shortage! Even coke is cheaper now :(

The ones at Checkers is much cheaper than the coke, so maybe it's just that store?

The 600ml are always sold out, seems no one wants to buy those baby cokes lol.

I've just checked a receipt from Monday (the 2nd of April) and it was R17.99 :o

I'll hit another checkers tomorrow to see what's up.

Come to think of it I buy Pepsi Max.

Don't recall the prices differing in the past but might be the difference here.
 
600ml has also gone up to R10.49 at the same checkers. :wtf:
 
Still cheaper than Coke, by at least R1,
And bigger bottle and drink tastes about the same.

Other day got a freebie at pnp as it was incorrect price, showed 10.49. But scanned at 7.99

:confused: Coke was R1 cheaper for the 2l bottle.
 
On closer examination...

Pepsi - R17.99
Pepsi Max/Lite - R12.99
Coke - R16.99
Coke Zero - R15.99

The government at work...
 
That sucks, the toxic mess that is the lite versions used to be more expensive than normal Pepsi/Coke now it's the other way. Didn't occur to me how this sugar tax penalises everyone incl those who just need this stuff as a mixer for a few dops.

The lite stuff is not better for your health, yikes that stuff is terrible.
