Period struggles.

Aside from the pain, discomfort and lack of hygiene and facilities at festivals, you mean?
No body is forcing women to go to festivals when they are on their periods..

And if they do, they should be prepared for it, with anything and everything they need..

She said: "It occurred to me, why am I changing my hormones... doing something drastic to my body just to go to a weekend festival?"

Uhm, or you could, you know, just not go that weekend...
Or change your tampon in the porta-loo?

Pain and discomfort are unfortunately part of having periods for most women. The lack of hygiene and facilities are part and parcel of outdoor festivals, if you gather thousands of people in a place that doesn't have proper plumbing combined with copious consumption of alcohol and drugs, things are going to get messy.

Get a Historectomy. Period pains sorted.
Spelling aside, that's major surgery and people like her are unlikely to take kindly to be told they should subject themselves to surgery to get over some discomfort. Actually not why she's complaining or rather to whom she's complaining, God/nature?

She's a musician, it might be a money earner for her

The real struggle can be attributed the disgusting state womans toilets are left in at festivals. Creepers, the war stories Mrs Netherby has from festivals in Europe and South Africa will make the hardest jock weak at the knees. Woman's loo's seem to be worse than the gents in most cases.

Interesting to see all the male members here outing themselves as never having had an intimate relationship with a woman and who clearly have no idea what a period is. Yes @LCBXX, @WAslayer, I'm looking at you.
