Both are UHD resolution. The Q60a has a quantum dot layer which will provide better colour reproduction, while the AU7000 has no such filter and side by side it shouldnt look as vibrant.

With the Hisense, the ULED tv's have a wider colour gamut that the normal UHD ones. Though not all the ULED tvs have a Quantum dot layer. Most, if not all, the ULED tvs have local dimming which the normal, entry level UHD branded ones do not.

The TVs classed by Hisense as Uled should give a better picture (deeper blacks etc) but their UHD class is also decent, for the price. I have the A7G which is classed as UHD and it supports Dolby Vision and Atmos. It displays HDR content well so I have no complaints as it fell into the price range of what I was willing to spend. Basically if you have a healthy budget then go for their Uled range but otherwise the UHD class of TVs is also decent.

It has the EVO panel with a heatsink that allows it to hit higher brightness levels.I don't think it would get any brighter than that but the average is probably brighter than regular OLED panels.

The same goes for the Hisense OLED in terms of the 800 nits being in vivid mode. It’s a “store-mode” figure, so unrealistic for home use.

I don’t think the C2 has the heat sink. Only the G2.

If the price of the South African Hisense OLED is not significantly lower than LG’s entry level A2, which is also a 60hz panel, it will be a tough sell, even if brighter. Against the 120hz C2 its a no contest. What does Hisense have against 120hz panels in South Africa??

Only their U80G 8K tv has a 120hz panel with true HDMI 2.1 support and has Android. So its the closest thing to their US models in specs but I don't see the need for 8K right now.
