[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Is there a fix yet for the problem of constantly having to enter login info for the apps on the A6800, or does this model not have that issue? I am looking to purchase a Hisense 75A6800UWG, but not if this is not sorted out.

75A6800 don't have this problem.

@Hisense SA : the link to HE43A6100UWTS(A001)_20190329.tar.gz that you provided does not work and nobody at Hisense Customer Service can assist or seem to understand what I am asking for.

Its amazing that other big brands offer OTA firmware updates but consumers here have to go through so much issues dealing with Hisense locally:mad:

Hi guys. I hope you can help because I have tried everything! I have a 50A6100UW and I want to be clear that so far I am very happy with the quality and usage of this TV, except for the constant buffering of dstv and the Netflix log in Ui-800-3 issue. (Showmax and PS4 play are fantastic). Insofar as what I have read here, apparently an update will sort that out. I have downloaded the update from the Hisense site, I've had an update file sent to me from the Hisense people themselves, I've even taken the update file that some generous people have put on this forum, and used the right usb formatted the right way when trying to update. Nothing has worked. The TV does recognise that there is an update file but when I follow all the steps set out here my TV still doesn't update. It has been very frustrating. My system software version is VA002.01.00a.I0929 (extended version: I0929). If there is a sure fire way of just getting the tv to update (I've read that OTA doesn't exist either), I would be very grateful for any help.

Thank you very much.
@Hisense SA Any advice for my particular issue? Other than the methods on this forum that haven't worked?

Hi guys,
I am trying to do the firmware update on my Hisense 65A6100 tv (Having the same issue with Netflix app constantly needing re-sign in). However, the file from Hisense SA website is a .bin file, which I cannot open.

1. How do I open the .bin file?
0r 2. Can Hisense send me the .pkg file directly instead? @Hisense SA

My current software is VA001.01.00a.I0929

Thank you.

Anyone watching DSTV now on their TV? If so what resolution does it display at because even if i view in full HD my video format shows 384x216P @Hisense SA

Im not sure if i should take pictures will do it justice but watching on any other tv it looks miles better than my Hisense
I haven't tried on another TV. But the picture looks HD on my A6100. I've got the same size signal reading on my TV as you. It's obviously wrong though. 0hz is impossible and that resolution would look like blocks

Who has won with the 65inch I am battling, keeps telling me there is no update on USB.

That is the thing it looks like blocks, netflix and youtube looks way more smooth.

Okay so I played with my N5000 and found out it has the same method of getting into the service menu as my old 50DLED.
Go to Sound Balance, while on it type in 1969 a big green M will appear on the screen. What I did find interesting is I could change what splash screen I could display instead of Hisense, so it looks like Hisense relabels their devices to in the rest of the world.

It could possibly be to put the hotel logo there if the TV is set to Hotel Mode?
