I would rather take the 4 year warranty with Hisense.
Compared to 2yrs with LG and Samsung.
I have an LG OLED, with much more better software than HiSense. I continue to use it while I save some bucks (actually awaiting for black Friday or an ebucks 40% deal) to buy an Apple TV4k (replaces the existing APPLE TV HD I have)Sigh. My 55" U7A with the Hisense software recently decided it would not play DSTV Now channels or Netflix. Menu and thumbnails on both are fine. Youtube on the TV is fine for everything. It's connected by cable to the router. No amount of resetting helps. I have a Chromecast, so can still watch these, but TV was convenient and seemed to keep DSTV at a higher resolution (separate moan - DSTV sports channels on streaming are horrible).
Any suggestions please?
I bought a brand new 65" 7200F (I've actually had 3 in the process, all with the same issue). I logged a support call because of really bad dirty screen effects on the panel (see pic I posted earlier in this thread). Hisense insisted that I send the unit in for repairs.I would rather take the 4 year warranty with Hisense.

Trying to register my hisense fridge for the 4th year.. What a nightmare.. Good luck with trying to register a tvi think its down to 3 years now
4 if you register
Very disappointed after watching the review. That dark scene performance is terrible. Seems like Hisense is pulling a Samsung move. It’s unlikely that the US model, the U8G, will launch here because Hisense is launching the U8QG in Europe and SA usually gets the European model not the US model.
According to Vincent Teoh, the U8QG is not so good:
Note: he starts the video in Mandarin but switches to English for the review

The A 7200f would be to similar to the A7000F, I've got the 65 U7QF and it's been pretty good, so maybe the u55qf would be just as good.Ok, so the old age question arise again. What TV is the best TV in my budget, that also fulfil my needs?
TV will only be used for Dstv, Netflix, YouTube, Crunchyroll and Twitch. No games will be played so no HDMI 2.1 needed. So effectively looking for the best bang for buck display.
Budget R10K, and these are the options:
Hisense 55U7WF
Hisense 55A7200
LG 55NANO79
Sony KD-55X7500H (far stretch)
Samsung 55TU7000
Any other options will be considered as well. This will be the 3th try in my TV hunt in 3 weeks xD. I've already tried the Hisense 55A7000F and Skyworth 55SUC9300.

And the Hisenses seem to have a great upscaler, watching even SD content doesn't look to bad.You can get a Hisense U7QF for that price. Check takealot.
use the official hisense appJust found out my remote for the 65" U7QF doesn't work anymore. Used it the first week or so, didn't like VIDAA so went back to my Mi Box. Now after a few months the remote doesn't work. Changed the batteries but didn't help. The TV turns on when you turn on the Mi Box and turns itself off as well. But now I can't change volume or picture settings if I need to.
Anybody else had this problem? Do any of the Android apps actually work? I don't even know if my phone has an IR blaster. Could get a spare remote but it is not really worth it if I rarely need it.
Mine still works, though it's not the best quality. Wonder if you can get a replacementJust found out my remote for the 65" U7QF doesn't work anymore.
