It can be yes, you may start noticing it filtering through normal TV, perhaps try swapping it out.

i bought this tv for "free" from ebucks

so dont want to be getting a refund as thats a loss to me

They will credit you what you paid for the TV if they can't fix it so yeah I wouldn't recommend doing it

For 17k you could have gotten the 55 inch LG A1 OLED,it might still be on special,LG really had some good deals recently,got a 48 inch C1 for 16k

Hi all

2 things I noticed

There is a moving white patch when my Xbox is on

Also white light patches or whatever when the screen loads and is dark

Don't think any of the hisenses are IPS.
Edge lit LEDs also have light bleed, but I've seen some older DLEDs with it.

Issue a warranty replacement, they should replace it not refund you for it. Did you register it with Hisense?

Yeah in Sa those are IPS,in the US the U6G and U8G are VA.
