[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Any Q8600 owners experiencing any issues with the Youtube app recently? I am on the .L1115 firmware and since on this firmware I noticed quite a bit of lag on the Youtube app and odd handling of 4K video where it would start to buffer halfway through the video for no reason and just staying buffering inevitably. A few times the TV had shut itself down from this state as well. Something is up with this firmware.
 
@Hisense I sent a mail months ago requesting my additional year’s warranty be loaded because the site never returns once you submit.

I haven’t had a response on the email. Please advise as to what is going on there with that mailbox and if I will ever get a response. Thanks.

Try again. Took a while but the site finally loaded for me. It is/was seriously broken. And I agree the response from their warranty/customer service email need a lot of work!
 
Is this tv displaying 12 bit colour? See attached. The Hisense site says the colour depth on this tv is 8 bit+FRC so it shouldn’t be capable of 12 bit colour? It’s an A7G. The tv is connected to an Apple TV 4K box. Is it just relaying what the source is and not actually displaying it in 12 bit colour?

Hope there some help out here need to have my hisense model 55k3300uw fixed. According to hisense SA no spare backlight unit available. Any suggestions here. FYI I am in Cape Town

My U7QF also accepts 12bit colour but it's probably processing it as 8bit FRC, I do notice the colours look better at 12bit then at 8bit.
