[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

@Hisense where can I take a TV to get repaired. Bought beginning of 2019 at Makro. Not sure what happened but the panel has some issues. All I did was put it on the back seat of the car and took it to a friend's house. When I plugged it in the screen seems to have suffered some damage. No physical cracks or anything. Just blobs of colour the entire screen full.

Would the warrantee cover that. IIRC the warrantee is four years?

The warranty wouldn't cover that sadly, that sounds like panel damage.

Why is everything in that pic skew. #OCD
It's not, the TV has a bulge on the back so it actually sticks out a bit, more of an optical illusion, I've checked with a level. Though the sound bar is 2cm off on the one side. Was going to take it down and try again but wife was like who's gonna know??

Some of us ;)

I love the trolling on Reddit when folks post pics of their setup and inevitably, someone refers the post to TVtooHigh, low or some other thing.

@Hisense I have had technicians come out because my 32A4G TV keeps freezing when watching DSTVvia the app. They say there is nothing they can do. How do I go about getting a replacement TV? I get no responses when sending emails to complaints and service, and the call centre can not transfer me to a manager and I get told a manager will call me back, which never happens.

I am sure it has to do more with DSTV than it does with hisense.

Hi Everyone, i was hoping someone here could help.

I have a 50" Hisense 2020 tv (50A6100UW/S1Z1)
I also have 50mb fiber and streaming of everything else is perfect (netflix, youtube, etc)

My problem is we have subbed to Amazon prime recently, the app loads perfectly fine as do the menus. but when i try play something ... blank screen. if i pause, then the timeline bar will come up and i can ffw/rwd and I can see the thumbnails of whatever i am trying to watch. But no video and no sound.

I have a newer 2021 43 inch hisense (my sim racing tv ) and trying amazon prime on that, there is zero issue. it plays perfectly, so its not my internet.

Is there anything i can do here? It seems the tv wont let me uninstall the app ( ithought i could uninstall and reinstall) , and i also cannot see anything about updating the app.
Has anyone else had a similar issue? i cant find any fixes on youtube etc.

Sadly the A6100UW models were the entry levels and support was minimal on them, then again support for firmwares and such on any hisense seems to be minimal at the moment, perhaps look at getting a separate Android box.

Try a factory reset. That usually gets the apps working again.

My 65U7A finally received an OTA firmware update to M0113 after it came back on after loadshedding. Don't see any difference, still the same. I was really hoping to get a better interface and app store with the update.

Hi all,
Hoping someone can give me some advice on a problem I am experiencing with my Hisense 55A6500UW TV.

When I power it on it shows the Logo splash screen, then the screen goes black and few small lines will appear on the screen moving around as the screen flickers.
I have to unplug it from the wall as the remote and the power button is unresponsive.

Unfortunately I have misplaced the POP so cant follow up with the warranty, and contacting a local TV repair place they told me they don't fix the problem and offered to buy the screen from me for parts...

Has anybody experienced this before and if so could you fix it?
