[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Also on M0016 and no updates available so think you're good.

BTW have you managed to get the TV to run at 120Hz from an HDMI port? Tried all the ports and all recommended setting but stuck at 60Hz.
The G in SA is 60HZ only

:crying:
The box says "120Hz native panel" so a bit strange. Is it just that or is it a different panel?

Any other differences? I mean I bought this TV based on the positive reviews so would be a bit of a bummer its actually not the same thing internally.

Not a huge complaint as 60Hz with Freesync is buttery smooth to me and the picture is fantastic.

I think it's because the ports aren't hdmi 2.1 so that's why you cant' get 120hz

Hi. Haven't attempted that yet. Not sure what to run at 120Hz

Bloody hell.

This is has become cheaper than the entry level UHD lineup. A 50" QLED tv for R6k.

These are the kinda prices I expect from Hisense

Hi everyone
I have a Hisense 55 a7200f and in 2 years i have never received a software update at all. My skyworth has received 4 updates already and runs Android 10 now.

Who at Hisense can i contact for firmware or where can i download the firmware for this model.

Also how can i access the service menu on this tv because the 1969 method does not work.

Current software version on attached picture

Hi all, i understand their is a shortage of the LG C1 and it is replaced by
the CS6LA, is this correct and if so, how does the this model compare with the C1.

It's the same panel as the C1 but with the chip and processing from the C2. It does not have the Evo panel from the C2 though. Think of it as a C1.5

Sounds like the CS6LA might be a good buy then, if the price is right,
will keep a look out for any specials on that model.

Looks like they aren’t selling the 55/65 inch C2 in SA and are replacing it with a frankenstein version made up of C2 and C1 parts. It should still be decent enough but, once again, the South African market is being fed the leftovers. Haven’t checked but you likely won’t find a review online from one of the go-to tv testers - RTings, HDTVTest etc.
