[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Is Oled burn in still a issue on these tv's? Specifically the A8H
TV literally came out in October, so it's not been out long enough, but any OLED does have a possibility of burn in. Though it does have picture shift, pixel shift and so on.

Will you permanently be displaying static images? Then no. Absolutely not a problem for any other brand, so I cannot see Hisense being any different.

I know flooding this thread but here is my old U7QF. IMG_20221129_094350.jpgIMG_20221129_094341.jpgIMG_20221129_094322.jpg

The 135 cd/m2 brightness is difficult to interpret. I’m hoping that’s at peak/sustained 100% window, because then it would be on par with the LG C1.

The 800 cd/m2 peak brightness is equally difficult to interpret. At 2 - 10% peak/sustained window, it would be 50 cd/m2 higher than the C1…
@Lupus Any thoughts on this?

I have no idea, the U7QF was 700 nits apparently and this one is 800, from a brightness level the ULED did go a bit brighter in some scenes but that is with my eyes.
The A8H does go darker and the dark is like wow.

@Lupus Can you post the video link? :D

Edit: That Flower shot really shows the improvement in detail. Wow. The bottle shot shows clearly how the lighting is impacting the screen damn.

I don't have the link :( I tried to upload it here but can't do video, yup lighting really does effect the screen.

First Takealot review is in on the 55A8H. Four stars, critiquing the OS and processing.

How does one determine processing though? Lagginess in operation?

Hisense 55" A8H 120Hz 4K Smart OLED TV with Dolby Vision & HDR10+

Who knows he doesn't elaborate on that. Could be the OS processing, he's lucky he never used Vida 2

Why is everyone going for the A7H and A8H over the U8H and U7H ?
Size for size, the A7H is much cheaper than the ULED range U8H and U7H.

The A8H is OLED and most people prefer going OLED over LCD if they are at the same price.

Just my thoughts
