[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Any good deals on the Hisense 55" A8H? :D
Still worth getting?

Thanks Sir. Good deal would be around R12999? Thats the best I could find in the past
Yeah but that was like 3 months ago or more, prices have been going up, so 15k isn't bad

My 49k300UW started showing blue vertical lines at the bottom of the screen. it initially started when I would turn the TV on on the logo screen and then go away but now it shows up all the time (see attached), TV is over 4 years old now, is this something worth repairing or should I buy a new TV?

Sale ends at 14:00 today but is the TV any good?
The answer to that relys on what your current TV is, the eye of the beholder so to speak. Some folks on here would have you thinking a TV is not good because it doesn't have some nifty tech. In general, that's a good TV. The fact that you asked, makes me believe you would be thoroughly satisfied with it's purchase.

Did you buy it? I guess the only thing I might worry about for you is, might it be too big? There is such a thing you know, some TVs swallow up rooms.

Hmm so they cancelled my order today because they said they don't have any stock, however the product is still advertised at a higher price and it says stock available lol...are they allowed to do this?
It looks like they dont want to fufill the deal it was advertised at for R12999

Remember there are other sellers on Takealot, the seller you bought from may not have stock

Hey guys,

Anyone with the Hisense U7H that has been experiencing the screen going randomly pink?
I am on the latest firmware that Hisense sent me - M1229
(I had asked for the firmware previously to try fix an audio sync issue - it didn't fix it, so instead I'm routing my Apple TV through my soundbar).

Anyways, since updating, every now and then the tv goes randomly pink, with the original picture still showing underneath this pink filter.

I've tried using different HDMI ports. This never happened before I updated.
Hisense are saying that there is no new firmware to send to me.

Anyone had anything similar?

Hmm but when it was purchased, it was in stock? So does that mean they can now say its not if it was at the time of purchase? and the money was deducted from the account.

Otherwise what stops them from always cancelling an order if they do not wish to agree to the price advertised?

Just wondering..

You cannot blame takealot who was your seller?
