Like everything else in South Africa, we always get shafted, 99.9% of the time.I see Hisense makes use of IPS panels instead of VA panels for our mini-led TVsJust wish it was the same quality as the rest of the world

Warranty? My 49k300UW started showing blue vertical lines at the bottom of the screen. it initially started when I would turn the TV on on the logo screen and then go away but now it shows up all the time (see attached), TV is over 4 years old now, is this something worth repairing or should I buy a new TV?

The answer to that relys on what your current TV is, the eye of the beholder so to speak. Some folks on here would have you thinking a TV is not good because it doesn't have some nifty tech. In general, that's a good TV. The fact that you asked, makes me believe you would be thoroughly satisfied with it's purchase.
El cheapoThe answer to that relys on what your current TV is, the eye of the beholder so to speak. Yes, there's the general quality aspect as well, opinion of which can be found from various individuals.
Then it'll be betterEl cheapo

Did you buy it? I guess the only thing I might worry about for you is, might it be too big? There is such a thing you know, some TVs swallow up rooms.El cheapo

Remember there are other sellers on Takealot, the seller you bought from may not have stockHmm so they cancelled my order today because they said they don't have any stock, however the product is still advertised at a higher price and it says stock available lol...are they allowed to do this?
It looks like they dont want to fufill the deal it was advertised at for R12999
Hmm but when it was purchased, it was in stock? So does that mean they can now say its not if it was at the time of purchase? and the money was deducted from the account.Remember there are other sellers on Takealot, the seller you bought from may not have stock
You cannot blame takealot who was your seller?Hmm but when it was purchased, it was in stock? So does that mean they can now say its not if it was at the time of purchase? and the money was deducted from the account.
Otherwise what stops them from always cancelling an order if they do not wish to agree to the price advertised?
Just wondering..
