Help, I need a new TV!

As the title explains, I need a new TV and I feel a bit lost, my current TV is an 8 year old LG that seems possessed, I have been looking at the TCL Tv's specifically the TCL 65" C755, as well as the Hisense 65" u7n which are both mini-LED.

I do like the idea of Google TV on the TLC, although it's not a must have for me, then I have read lots of comments about quality control issues with Hisense TV's, so right now I am undecided not only on those two but I don't have a clue if there is something even better to buy at this point, it will be used for gaming and movies/sport.

I would love an OLED but they are all out of reach for my budget, so my current budget is around 13 to 15K, I don't mind spending slightly more if it will be a better buy, but it must be 65", please help.
 
Get whatever ones panel you like the most and get a TV Box, noone uses whatever is built into the TV's as its usually outdated and slow.

Both are chinese, both can and do have hiccups. Don't necessarily look at the OS running on them.
Go look at them side by side and see which you prefer, as at the end of the day it's your eyeballs using it :)

Well a cheap Samsung would be roughly the same quality as a cheap TCL or Hisense, problem is they price it at the higher tiered hisense and tcl levels

Also when buying from Takealot and you are not happy with the TV. Just return it.

Don't drop it.

Yup this is true, although the guy at Game was willing to offer me the u7n for 13999, as tempting as that is I don't trust them when it comes to returns.

you're not going to get better bang for buck then this. Literally a steal at that price. Not as good as the Z770 which was roughly this price a year or two ago, but won't find it anymore.
