[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

2. Most people use Apple tv/ Android Tv box.
3. Who in their right mind uses a TV's "Smart OS" with AAADDDDSSS everywhere.?
Don't let the folks in here fool you, the majority of people with smart TVs use their "smart" features. The TV box market is not growing.

just
Once AGAIN.

1. Hisense has LG's OLED evo panel inside. So, same features.
2. Most people use Apple tv/ Android Tv box.
3. Who in their right mind uses a TV's "Smart OS" with AAADDDDSSS everywhere.?
4. Hisense is way cheaper.
5. Longer Warranty
1. Just because they use the same panels doesnt mean the end picture quality is the same. The only thing in common is no blooming because its an OLED.
2. The signal from the TV box still gets processed by the TV.
3. You make it sound like using the native OS is like watching a Youtube video without YT premium. My LG remote has most of the apps shortcuts on it. I just press a button the the app loads.
4. Hisense phones are way cheaper than Apple and Samsung phones. They have high megapixel cameras and large screens with the same storage size available. Cheaper isnt always better

I think Hisense mobile (imported from China) should not be compared to their TVs and Fridges (which gets manufactured/assembled there at Atlantis)

1. Professionals say otherwise.
2. Lol. That is not how TV boxes work. See Nvidia Shield tv as a perfect example, which I have.
3. Hisense Oled has short cuts to all the popular apps too, so your point is invalid.
4. Why are you bringing phones into the convo.? Does LG have phones.?
5. You got schooled, maybe go repeat Grade R.?

Careful now. If you only new how many parts inside an LG tv are from China.

1. Which professionals? Please share some reviews/articles of these professionals that are reviewing non North American variants.
2. So then all of your picture presents on your TV and greyed out and cannot be changed? The Hisense U8QF and U8G have a 120hz panel. If the input signal doesnt get processed by the TV, why cant it play 120hz content from an external source?
3. You were complaining about how the OS has so many ads. Now when you point was made redundant because there are shortcuts on the LG remote, my point is invalid.
4-5. Do you have a Hisense Tattoo or something? Or did Hisense give you 32" tvs for all your rooms?

1. Not Evo Panels that LG uses in their own displays. It's OLEDs made by LG Display Technologies
which is not the same as LG Electronics. It's a different panel made by LG.

Haven’t we even seen multiple examples here of issues when enabling 120hz + HDR?

A bmw 1 series and Peugeot 207 shared the same based engine too - the Bimmer is a superior car.

That said, I still think you cannot go wrong with getting the latest Hisense OLED. But let’s not be silly, it’s not objectively better than a C1/C2/CS, possibly even CX

Shame.

Also

"Hisense is one of the few LCD manufacturers that makes its own panels. It continues to purchase OLED panels from LG, which is the only manufacturer producing this technology as of 2021."

Anyways, I'm done schooling for today, recess is in kiddo.

Shame.
Clearly you can't read

So let me explain it to you like a little baby.

1. LG Electronics = Consumer side of LG
2. LG Display Technologies = Creates the electronics and tech that is sold by LG Electronics
3. LDT = Makes OLED Displays
4. Makes displays that consumer side sells in it's OLED TVs. (Evo Panels)
5. LDT also makes OLED panels and sells them to other companies.
6. Not the same as the EVO panels that are in their own OLED range.
7. Other companies buy them and use them in their TVs.

So learn to read you blind ****

I would say you lost the plot, but that would mean you understood it before.

Looking at getting the Hisense 65″ U8H Mini-LED ULED 4K TV

Cannot seem to find anything bad regarding this TV, any concerns or cons to take into consideration?
At R22k ish, quite value for money compared to the competitors.

I have been seriously considering the ULED tvs, the U7H, only thing that puts me off is VIDAA OS. So many bad comments/reviews on it and the lack of apps and app updates. Biggest one for me is lack of Disney plus, which has been in "testing" for a year now and still no sign of it or even a release date. I know you could get an android box or similar but that's just extra hardware I don't want to deal with. They seem like such amazing value considering the price otherwise

I can deal without Disney+, my only grip with the OS would be speed. If there's stuttering or slowness while navigating then this will be a dealbreaker for me.

Thanks, sadly sold out
