PES2010!!!!!! ?

played for 2 hours this afternoon after finally getting it.
Its brilliant so far but there are a few things they couldve polished up on!

I dont like the fact that theyve discarded some old PES classic attributes like the style Henry used to sprint in Pro Evo 4 and 5? I mean all the players run in the same type of style. Messi is the player for this game and they havent focused on his attributes enough.is it just me or are Freekicks impossible....or im missing something?

I also dont like the way the strikers finish off.the ball is hit SOOO hard it just flies at light speed into the net. also i think i need to get used to PES being so 'slow' compared to its previous versions

Ok the negative aside Pro Evo is BACK!!!! There are too many moments where i tell myself ' Fifa can only dream about doing that'. Great graphics! - havent seen Fifa10 yet but surely they cant be better than PES graphics :eek: .gameplay is smooth and passing excellent.
 
Dammit - never even considered the release of 2010.

Still playing 2009 on PC and certainly want to get around to 2010.

Will check it out a mates place on Xbox360 as well first.
 
When it comes to PC, PES is the only way to go. I dunno what's going on with FIFA PC but it is just terrible compared to PS3 and Xbox (which don't really compare to PES:p).

Honestly, FIFA10 on PC is just :sick:
 
I have shifted from PC gaming to more console gaming

PES owns FIFA on console as well. The gameplay is just SO MUCH better!!! Its not laggy and slow. It feels like you have more control over the player in Pro Evo.

1. You're not doing the setpieces properly, so my answer is yes. You are missing something. :p

2. I fully agree on having to get used to it, but as PESGamer said - PES has been missing that "getting used to the new iteration stage" when you first play it and it is better that it's back. However, it's crap that we have three years of catching up to do. Not that I mind :D

ahhh just had a 2 hour session with 3 mates.played knockouts.... well none of them are Fifa Fanbois but they did enjoy PES10.i seriously wanna get my hands on Fifa10 and see if it can come close in terms of gameplay at all.but i think its stupid to have both - its either one or the other. i mean if they both great games its a waste of $

its not the game so much but that daft controller of the Xbox, it seems so childish & something that came from a fisher price toyset that bothers me.
 
what a game! got mine about 10 days now... patched with Rosh's option file over at www.pesgaming.com - great option file (still holding out for von option file tho, which was the best last year IMO). Anyhow, the edit kits and added teams look great.

Updated to the v1.02 last night...played some online matches. I have afrihost and there wasnt much lag...the odd delay on the pass here and there nothing serious or anything that makes the game unplayable at all.

Played FIFA10 as well, and I can safely say that PES is by far the better game. FIFA is a gameboy's game - but those gamers who want a real football experience, with strategy and gameplay - pes is for you.

Looking to play online as well - just curious tho as to how much bandwidth it uses - i played about 2 hours last night - used about 150MB...not sure tho - anyone can verify that approximation? PSN username: owngo4ler_

PS: The Official Konami v1.02 is currently live and does NOT affect the option files and edit data of your current game
