For those interested in Dog (or cat) Phototagraphy, Elliott Erwitt's masterpiece series of Dogs is real joy to see. Available in a few different book formats.

I had a lengthy discussion on the photo.net forum about animal photography some time ago, and it's difficulty was unanimously agreed. The trick being to create a dynamic interest in the image. It helps to also think "will someone who doesn't like animals, like this photo?

But, being an animal lover myself, I do admit that I enjoy seeing all the pet photos here
