So I was looking for a specific pet food brand for my cats and obviously looking at best prices. In my search I stumbled upon am online pet store supplier called Pet World. They look legitimate as they have various stores mainly in the Cape but also in Gauteng.
I placed an order on 9th December 2023, received confirmation of my order and that was the last I heard from them!
Not sure if it was coincidence or what, but their website went dark for a few days and today was back up!
Despite sending numerous emails and messages, I have not heard from them.
I have written this off to "school fees" but just want to warn those forumites who are pet lovers to avoid dealing with Pet World.
Update: Fraud case reported to bank.
Update: After 12 days of emails backwards and forwards, I get a courier ringing my doorbell to deliver a parcel from muppet petworld! the contents is one item and does not include the cat food I ordered! These idiots do not deserve the time of day let alone be responsible to supply pet food! My pets are my children and are therefore very important to my wife and I. I am asked to log a return via the website only to be told that the items ordered are non returnable, this despite the fact that I have not received the most important items (cat food)!
DO NOT DEAL WITH PETWORLD ONLINE!!!
