Can we just start pumping our own gas please? This demeaning little jobs like domestic workers, farm workers, fuel pourers and mine workers should end.
Ok - so I get that people are capable of pumping their own gas, and cleaning their house - but mines and farms too?
I wish we could, but we would have to employ them somewhere else. Same reason the council can't use automatic street sweeper machines.

So you're advocating more unemployment because you have a perception of these jobs as being demeaning? I don't think the people doing these jobs consider them as demeaning as you do.

i was sarcastic, but we have a few forumites that will agree with this social structure. Let government just pay them a basic salary and let us pump our own petrol.
As for farming, it can be done. Ask the Canadians. You do it yourself or not at all.

In reality, this video times 200 when the first incompetent twat tries and put petrol in his air vent and I have to wait behind them. I have anger management issues with idiots. I get irritated when rich bitch in her brand new bmw swerves over the road with her cell clutched to her ear because she is too stupid/lazy to figure out the Bluetooth in her fancy new car.

I understand where you're coming from, but how many of these guys are employed at the moment? 1000000s? How many families are aided by their salaries, albeit meagre? The gvt is struggling to create employment, but the gvt won't admit to it.
Demeaning as it may be, ending menial jobs right now would be a disaster for the people doing the jobs and their families.
R21billion budgeted for education this year. That is were it should start. Not just school facilities and salaries, but curricula. Curricula has to be revised, to stop such jobs being an option for kids.

If I were witnessing this situation I would have spoken my mind to this piece of white trash.
But the problem would still remain.
If I had the physique to beat this piece of white **** to the ground .... I WOULD, but it still wouldn't solve the problem that is him.
If you beat him to a pulp he will just get up and feel more aggression towards everything ... for the rest of his life.
But peaceful interaction with this guy will also lead to nothing ...
