Simply put - Education = Jobs. Most white people are educated and know the importance of education. One of the 2 most important things to invest in. Unfortunately, the Government has failed in providing education, and where they have improved the education the pupils strike [or don't go to school, or make demands] - ironically the importance of education isn't realized by the black communities. There are a few, but mostly they tend to expect more from government rather than educating themselves.

The reason you don't know any unemployed 'whites' is because whites, ironically, expect better and thus strive to get better and know how to do that. It seems that the majority of the black community have just accepted that this is how it is; or expect government to provide; or have ignored the opportunities given to them.

If you want to call the poor black community not being able to have access to [basic and higher] education: the government is purely to blame for that. A sad twist of life is that because they are uneducated; they really have no clue on the power of democracy or how the government is there to SERVE rather than be "in power".

I don't see it changing for a long time.
