I see somebody attempted steak. It’s difficult because it’s so easy to overcook. What I do is use specifically ribeye, rub in some softened butter, a bit of garlic, salt and ground black pepper.

Both under cooking and over cooking will ruin it so I won’t give a specific time as it varies by thickness, but I’ll report back once I have it nailed. Great with mushroom or pepper sauce.

I personally think steak is the worst thing to cook in an airfryer. Borderline blasphemy actually.

It’s not so bad lol. I also prefer stovetop but it smokes too much and I can’t figure out how to turn this damn extractor on…

For a 3cm thick sirloin steak.

After pre heating the oven for 3 minutes.
I use 200 degrees for 7 minutes to get medium rare.
I put this on a sheet of foil to save on the cleaning.

For a thick tri-tip rump steak.
15 minutes covered in foil at 180 degrees, open foil and another 10 minutes.

Reverse searing is great if you know what you are doing.

Lol the worst steak i ever had was from an airfryer, I prefer stove top and smoking up my whole place, adds to the ambiance.
