Pan and or combination of sear/reverse sear. Of course dry brining it beforehand would already be an improvement.

Was in a local Checkers last night- Cobble Walk- obviously the same price everywhere- had a few of the Philips Airfryer Essential XL for R1999 if using your " Checkers Card', and not "R2999"

I actually bought mine at cobble walk. And it was not advertised as R1999 when paying by card.
Instead it was advertised as R2999 written on the white and red paper they use for specials.
So No1 would know it can be bought for cheaper using your card. I found it sneaky.

Put salt on.
Put pepper on.
Airfryer on 180.
18 minutes.

Lamb chops. Spice it the way you like it on the braai but with a tiny bit of olive oil rubbed in first.

Depending on the thickness of the chops , 8 minutes at 200C on each side.

They sell a nice Portuguese peri peri spice at Spar. It comes in a foil bag. Rub some in to improve on this.

It’s also good on chops.

I see somebody attempted steak. It’s difficult because it’s so easy to overcook. What I do is use specifically ribeye, rub in some softened butter, a bit of garlic, salt and ground black pepper.

Both under cooking and over cooking will ruin it so I won’t give a specific time as it varies by thickness, but I’ll report back once I have it nailed. Great with mushroom or pepper sauce.

Paid R1499 for the 4.8l in Oct last year.. Wish I bought a bigger one.. But it sufficient for two ppl

For that 1 to 2cm extra space? 'the bigger', that is the xxl, a revision of the xl. You know corporate buzzword bingo.
