Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

Ok that is it. ****ing avoid SLServices.

So I'm trying to get my order to be refunded

  1. They literally ignored all my follow up messages
  2. In the account options you can change your email address
  3. They said they will continue to ignore my unless I reply from the original address
  4. I phoned and explained the error, correctly identified myself and still they hamper on 3.
Congratulations you just ****ed yourself SLS and you will be reported to the relevant entities.

Yeah, why places allow you to change your email when they don't have the processes to support it is beyond me. Has happened to me elsewhere before, can't recall where.

SLServices is generally good, albeit slow.

I'm really starting to doubt that. Why would I need to fill out a form first before they can refund me other than being forced down a road on false pretense? I suppose next they will ask me to fax **** through to them

I can't. Only them stock my Philips shaver blades.

As we all know pork belly was practically invented for the airfryer..

Cut into 1 inch strips, season with 6 gun or similar & lay out on rack, 45mins @ 200 degrees for a deep crisp.

I have the instant pot duo & came out fanflippentastic!.. zero effort, deffo repeatable.
Don't have to cut it into strips --- just cook it whole --- provided it fits into the container.

Yes simply because there is no energy wastage heating up a large volume of air, and because the cooking process is optimised.
At lot more than pre-heating to 200/180 in a normal oven and then baking for what 60 mins.
Pre0heating helps even more and is a very short period. So even if you do preheat it is still very energy efficient compared to a conventional oven.
4 mins normally?

You all do realise that this is a 137 page thread, where we can read and see examples of "even cooking" "crispiness" "rust" YouTube video's of fans sounding like a lawnmower trying to start, energy saving with statements like I had to cut my pork belly into 6 pieces and bake it in batches of 2 for hours.

You read the whole thread? Where did you find the time? Were you waiting for your oven to heat up?

No I do it while my food is cooking. Unlike you guys that have to stand next to it the whole time, ready to put the next batch in.

You don't have a watch? Shame you can buy one for R100. It's maybe time to invest in one.
Exactly!. There is no need to cut a pork belly into strips to do it in batches ( unless of course, you are cooking a meat cut larger than the container can hold).

We found our air-fryer can easily handle a 1kg pork belly whole. Same with a Chicken up to about 1.4Kg.
The determining factor is the physical size of the roast (whatever it is).
