I had them years ago made in an oven. They weren't crispy at all.
Maybe results would be better in an airfryer

Mine are definately crispy in the airfryer, Simply divine. make sure you cook them long enough.

I have only tried fresh ones when i realized i had run out the frozen bag, and the fresh ones were definitely tasty. I am just lazy to cut so i prefer buying frozen.

too much work, par boil , let it cool down. fry in medium hot oil, drain and let it cool down then fry again on high flame.

Yeah the very fact that they make contact with the bottom when in an oven means they don't quite get there until you shake it up all the time.

600g for 10min does it perfectly for me.
