Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

Now that you mention it. You could have the same as on this photo in the oven, actually easier as you can control the temp better. Then you would have slow and low roasted. baked to perfection with tender meat rendered fat, fall of the bone goodness. Rather than that chewy meat and uncooked fat, ribs in the air fryer that had to be covered in marinade afterwards to make it look more appealing.

Don’t you worry it all fell off the bone quite happily, nothing chewy about it.

The marinade is purely for taste and making them nice and sweet&sticky the way kids like it.

Now has it been a whole single piece rack like in your picture I would have fully agreed.

So what use does the patented Starfish airflow have if you cover the bottom with baking paper?

I just agree it’s a trend I see on YouTube as well to use foil and baking paper to “help with the mess” when doing Air fryer stuff that I don’t understand as it goes against the entire point somewhat and surely leads to normal oven-like cooking times.

At the same time logically speaking it should still have much the same benefits of heating from underneath just not quite as effectively.

Only time I use foil is when doing sausages but only for the first half of cooking otherwise it has a tendency to smoke as it leaks.

I hardly ever use parchment paper. Except when I use 'basting' etc. It does help with the mess. It does not seem to impair the cooking time.

This. AFAIK it's just lazy people that don't want to clean their AF. Mine takes less than a minute to clean.

Sorry if this has been posted before...I have a no-name brand air fryer and couldn't help myself

Almost nobody in KZN visit the Berg due to the fact it takes forever due to the roads. It takes about almost 3 hours to drive to the Underberg from Durban. Despite only being 145KM from Durban.

If the Berg had a decent road connecting directly to Durban instead of via Pietermaritzburg, then the Berg would be an easy day drip for the People in Durban.

KZN is way more awesome than the WC it's just that the road system is fcked to get to most of the best places
Buy a 4 x 4 and then the roads don't bother. And BTW, the lack of roads IS one of the appealing aspects of the Berg. (Untamed wilderness etc). As to the rest of KZN? It is the pitts, full of Zuma cronies of all flavours.
