^^ suck on that.
One of them is the smaller 1400w model (which in general gets used way more often than the larger XL) so it's probably comparable to the stove but not as convenient.Well there's a 4kW power draw, may as well just use the oven
Makes sense I guess if you don't cook vegetables in the sauce of the cooking chickenOne of them is the smaller 1400w model (which in general gets used way more often than the larger XL) so it's probably comparable to the stove but not as convenient.
The stove is going in for servicing/repairs soon so it was more of an exercise in feasibility than efficiency. Roasting a chicken in the airfryer takes just as long as it does in the oven and the results are comparable.
Already used mine for diesel and toilet paper.Pull out your credit cards folks.
May I request a close up?
That's not a bad price actually.Honestly, if I had to go this route I would rather get this.
My mom tried to give me one of these and I said hell no, till I used it. No frills, no fuss and it's quick.

Sunbeam is ok. The pot lasted a couple of years till the handle broke. The handle has a disconnect switch in it so the pot was a bit useless after that. That's not a bad price actually.
I've been looking for something like that because I object to the Teflon that's inside the Philips and other major brands, but I haven't had time to do much research. Is the Sunbeam good?
I've used plenty convection ovens before...Another person that hasn't used an airfryer before.
airfryer =/= convection oven.I've used plenty convection ovens before...![]()

Sounds like you get what you pay for. Price is low but if it's going to be landfill material in 2 years I'm not as keen.Sunbeam is ok. The pot lasted a couple of years till the handle broke. The handle has a disconnect switch in it so the pot was a bit useless after that.
LolA convection oven is an oven that has fans to circulate air around food to create an evenly heated environment. The increased air circulation causes a fan-assisted oven to cook food faster than a conventional non-fan oven, which relies only on natural convection to circulate the hot air.
Lol...
The Philips Airfryer makes it possible to enjoy healthier version of your favorite foods by frying them with a tablespoon or less of oil and draining excess fat during cooking. The unique starfish shape circulates air around the entire unit, heating up to 390 degrees to ensure all food is cooked evenly.

Comparing the two is like comparing a Nokia Communicator with an iPhone. Sure the Nokia is a smartphone but...Air fryers cook the food in a similar way to convection ovens, but in a faster way just like deep-frying in oil. Oil transfers heat much faster than air does. However, moving the air particles can significantly increase the rate of heat transfer in the air, and this is exactly what air fryers do. The moving of air is done by putting a fan at the top of the food chamber and a star-shaped guide profile below the food chamber. These two components work together to move the hot air and direct it to precisely pass over the food and heater surface.
They are great, they are the true first air fryers. First ones probably made over 30 years ago. Mine lasted 15 years before fan started giving issues. Normally about 12L of capacity where you can cook many things at once. You can see your food cooking. No need to open air fryer the whole time and shake basket. That's not a bad price actually.

Please remember. Most Chinese product manuals are full of spelling mistakes. There is no such thing as an Airfryer, It does not exist in the Dictionary. Your Chinese made Philips Airfryer is just a spelling mistake.Another person that hasn't used an airfryer before.

LOL you are literally describing that Sunbeam. It has a fan at the top by the element. There is no basket in the way of the airflow. The glass bowl is round and even the bottom edges is round. There is nothing on the market that can produce a better airflow than that design.Lol
