Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

that will obstruct the starfish airflow

Not sure if it does, but my 11yo chucked some bacon rashes in a while ago, set it for 20 minutes and then went to watch a YouTube video on the TV. Came out nice enough and the basket just needs a wipe with a damp cloth and it's clean.

Quick and easy with less risk of injury and no mess. 20230717_134327.jpg

I like my coffee burned and my bacon crispy thanks.

It would just work like a normal oven with increased cooking times and a need to turn.

It's much easier and safer for my kids though, which was the main reason I bought this.
Not sure it's much safer than an oven but at least it gets them cooking.

Bacon cooks better in an oven though. The slower initial cooking, while it builds temp, renders the fat better.

And you can fit a lot more bacon in the oven and more bacon is always better... always.

True, I find it's easier for the kids to handle this thing, and since they're home alone every afternoon (I work about 200m from home) I'm more comfortable with them cooking with the airfryer. It's bloody quick as well, you have have some nice wings in just over 20 minutes.

The air fryer or the weird paper?

Because surely the paper is less safe with them having to put that in the basket first.

Being an Air Fryer thread we don’t believe ovens exist so we are all good there.

Don't know why the word "urethra" jumped into my mind, when I see them bacon strips. What does that word mean?

Both, I won't be cleaning up after them, that's the big thing with the paper.

Rashers, not strips.

Was at P&P the weekend and saw this. It does not have an inner basket, or at least the one on display. No rack or anything to lift your food from the bottom so the air cant go all around the food. Don't know if you get something else with in the box. Will work basically like these people putting foil or baking paper in their air fryers.
