Sorry for derailing the thread, my mom wants a basic airfryer can't pay the price of Phillips , I see on take a lot lots of silver crest 6 or 7l ones for around R700 , are those okay? There so many solver crest but which one?

Can't recommend anything as far as Airfryers go. Rather save up.

Only thing I would consider is this:

Anyone elses oil collecter pan (the flatish starfish one) erode it's Non stick? Put. Mine in a dishwasher like always and is now like a graphite sandpaper finish??

That's cheaper than the amazon deal, but, the connected design is not as great as the normal XXL which has a drawer runner and a mesh basket, in my opinion. You pull the basket out and it donners to the floor. If this one has similar, go for it, but I dont think so.

No there's a button you need to press to unhook the two and it's protected by a slider cover.

If you do cook, flip it over and then on again for a minute or so. As for chips give it a shake about halfway. Works very well
