Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

Get the cheapest one. It's really just an element and a thermostat housed in cheap blik and plastic...

3000 series is top of the range in that size and R700 is nothing. I’d pay the extra. Also lol great word that.
 
Just bought my wife a Philips 9285. She loved the HomeID connect function.

Well let's just say, it is k@k. After about 30min and 2 different phones and 3 resets, 3 uninstall and reinstall, the POS still doesn't want to connect to the wifi.
Wife is very disappointed.
It's like buying a car with an aircon but it doesn't work. Sure it will take you from A to B but that was a selling point.
 
PnP Hyper had a special on a 7l GladAir with a viewing window, no basket at around R800. Well worth it

Turn off 5ghz.

Or make sure 2.4ghz is on.

Why do you need WiFi on an airfryer?
 
This is where it stops, always.
So clearly registered on the wifi, but then afterwards the wifi led on the fryer slowly, very very slowly goes on and of.
While the above finalizing is busy the wifi led is consistent, as it should be when it is connected.
So the app can't finalize it.
 
Are replacement baskets readily available? Mine's seen better days.

There was a website that had all their stuff by the factory model code available but I’m buggered if I remember now.

I feel like @Smiggles pointed me there before…when he was still a boy of the backstreets.
