Take the basket out and start it up, then look into the cavity with a torch - you should see the element and above it the fan - should run freely

One thing where this device has changed my life is how I can transform bread or buns that I would usually have thrown away.

Yeah if it’s become too stale to use as is or just not so nice it’s perfect.

Cut open put some garlic butter or cheese in and off you go.

I basically use the pre-heat cycle and that’s enough to get it done. When it pings I take it out.

The protective black coating has already started to slowly come of the pan and basket thingy.

Are you washing it with a scrubber?

Doubt they would bother, simply say get a new one.

It probably won’t make that much difference anyway, it’s not like you are cooking on the sides.
