Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

Purchased one on Black Friday, extremely impressed and the app has some great recipes. Are any of the accessories worth getting (seen a couple on yuppiechef) ?
Also check on geewiz and slservices; I've only used the grill one so far. In fact, I've replaced the mesh one with it. The rest I haven't used at all, the one that's like a mini bucket. Don't know about the pizza one...

I bought this. Whilst pricey; it works a treat. I can do enough crumbed chicken (5-6 pieces) in 1 go for the family.

Looking for something similar, I know Jamie oliver has a recipe where the chicken is on the top grid and potato Madelines below so this should work perfectly

Was wrapped in tinfoil for first 40-45 minutes. Then opened up to brown a bit further.

My suggestion would be to just put a tinfoil catchment on the base for the juices. Otherwise I thing it being entirely wrapped in tinfoil sort of defeats the strengths of an air-fryer.

Works perfectly. Try it.

I've done a couple of Woolies basted chickens in the airfryer. Came out really nice. Thing is, for the time you stated you spent, you might have done it in the oven for the same effect?

I'm not arguing that. I'm just wondering if you are not circumventing the airfryers main advantages by wrapping the entire chicken in foil.
It’s to prevent the outside drying out and the inside being raw, I assume.

You do the “frying” at the end to crisp the skin. But yeah, oven first seems like it could work too.

Hi guys, any ideas how to cook a medium well steak in the air fryer? I bought a tomahawk steak about 2cm thick that I need to cook it there

Nope. Make it with and without foil. Different tastes. Foil boils it in the juices. Supper yummy.

Ok cool. Will try it in future.

One thing I would suggest you try, is the deboned lamb from Woolies that comes in an oven bag. Completely delicious as well. But, you do it in an oven.
