28L air fryer !

28L at 1800W (200W less than my Philips airfryer). Stuff is going to take longer to cook and less efficiently.

It's just a regular toaster oven.

Airfryer has been making a scrapping / rattling sound on startup for a while. This morning it is tripping the earth leakage without even being switched on.

It's the regular price. I got one of these on special at Makro the other day for R2500.

EDIT: Actually no, this is the previous model that's been discounted - I'd say it's a good price but just know you can sometimes get the newer one on specials like I did.

Just a note - you cannot fit even a small whole chicken in this one. We have it and I wish we'd held out for a larger model.

Well I've never tried cooking an entire chicken for myself but I'm sure I could fit a chicken in there if I prepared it and didn't just try shove it in whole.

Why I got the xxl for myself. Paid 3200 for it on a black friday about 2 years ago I think. Anyhow going to replace the basket as it started to peel off at the bottom (inside, where grill/mesh fits in) . This the top basket and not the bottom one. Slservices has it for about R380.

Afaik It's actually the revision model of the xl but philips called it xxl.

This smart air fryer can be controlled through the Mi Home app, which will offer more than 100 different recipes to try out. Using the app you can schedule the cooking up to 24 hours in advance and you can use voice commands (Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa are supported) to start or pause the cooking process and check the remaining cooking time. You can also use the OLED display on the front to check such info.

The air fryer can fit 3.5L (3.7 quarts) and can cook at temperatures ranging from 40ºC to 200ºC (104ºF-392ºF). Besides air frying, this can also be used for baking, defrosting and even making yogurt.
