36 minutesSo I bought a xl philips air fryer last year and finally decided to use it, I've tried cooking chips with it a few times but I'm struggling to make them. I use the green and white bag from checkers potatoes, I think they medium sized. I cut up about 5 potatoes around 1cm thick them rinse them 30 minutes and then dry them. Then I put 3 tblspn oil in them salt some paprika and put them in the air fry at 180 at the preset which is 36 minutes. I turn them around halfway. My issue is that some of the chips are cooked ok, but some come out being uncooked in the middle. I've tried to increase the time but it just ended up making everything else browner and there's always a few uncooked ones left. Anyone with tips on how you get good fries from an air fryer like the quality of when you fry them in a pot of oil?

" 1 min meals " isn't always the best as it literally depends on what you are doing towards what end; cooking is never just " 1 step for 1 min ".36 minutes![]()

Not a bad price (TA is R3500) but I would go XXL for a family as a minimum.Philips XL (9270) on special at Makro for R2500.

I need a new one. But I'm far from a Makro and I won't touch their online store.Philips XL (9270) on special at Makro for R2500.
I took the XL basket and put it inside the XXL basket, when I had the chance in store and they had both on display..Not a bad price (TA is R3500) but I would go XXL for a family as a minimum.
