Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

The internet says airfryers are just convection ovens. My old microwave had a from a couple years back had convection setting and I just got a new Microwave not too long ago.

Feel like I missed out not getting another convection combo microwave.
Not quite. Airfryers in general cook faster and have less fat. Far more healthier IMO.

Airfryers are essentially table top convection ovens. (From what I've seen and read) .

Anyway I've got a microwave now so, it's going to have to be one those table top ones if I can justify it to myself that it's worth getting one.

I chose to get a Panini Press over a airfryer on Black Friday, I'm making good use out of it. Put the traditional toaster in the cupboard because who wants to go back to that dry toast.

I'm still getting FOMO about airfryers though, feels like at least twice week friends and family raving about their airfryer and/or questioning me about why don't have an airfryer yet.

Despite being somebody who cooks very often I'm struggling to think of what I'll actually cook in an airfryer.

Could be because I don't eat poultry.

Roast vegetables, lamb chops, chips, roasting nuts... ;)

Seriously though, the thing about air fryers is that they are essentially table top convection ovens on steroids. You don't get that kind of airflow in a standard convection oven and it really does cook well with little effort.

Well yes there's toast bread and then there's toast bread...

Bread tends to fly around in the airfyer & they ussally come out bended. Also, only one slice fits in properly at a time (xl model)...
Add sliced cheese for better results.
