Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

Can I make uncooked gammon in the airfryer?

What recipe?

You definitely can but.....

Countertop Airfryers are optimised to cook multiple small things fast. But the general rule for converting recipes to convection ovens is reduce the temperature slightly 5 to 10C and the cooking time by 20 to 25%.

The only real risk I can see is burning your glaze but if you're already have experience glazing food in an airfryer then that shouldn't be an issue.

It arrived this morning, looks great, it is quite large but not heavy, lighter than my microwave.
Here is the kicker, Fridays are typically takeaway days for me and tomorrow we are doing lunch at a relative’s place so will need to literally find a reason to use this thing, maybe I’ll use it as a microwave for the takeaway this afternoon

It's available on takealot or did yours break?

Yes, I know it's on TaL, but it was ±R800 cheaper at Game but they had no stock. They phoned head office to find out when new stock will be available and the answer came back as never cause the model was discontinued. I then emailed Hisense to find out about replacement units and they said there isn't any .... now Im in 2 minds about taking one.

I often re-fry takeaway chips when they cold or not crispy enough. 5min and they fresh and ready to go.

It should come with a warranty, so it's their problem to fix or replace?

I still look at it and think it's going to 3D print a meal.....

And I don't mean that in a bad way
