Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

Mine is permanently on 180c. Find it cooks everything just fine on that temp.

I haven't gotten to setting up or using my new toy yet... but just reading the manual and looking at a comment like this already makes me think along the lines of.....

"Peasants. Peasants everywhere."

I bought a Philips XL in April. The inside metallic area started rusting in various spots. Anyone else had/has a rust issue?

My previous smaller airfryer, which I had for more than 3 years, never had that issue.

Do you clean it? And how do you clean it?

Are you close to the sea ? I'm about 5km away and not had any rust yet. The machine is now over 2 years old and I use it often.

After use I usually wipe the inside with a dry paper towel and once a week I use spray a small drop of oven cleaner on a paper towel.

Not so close to the sea. Currently I'm about 6-7kms from the sea. But with my old airfryer I was about 2km from the sea and that one didnt rust lol

Oven cleaner probably killed the nonstick layer so I suspect you are buggered now.

What’s wrong with soap and water?
